South Jersey Local News, NORMAN L. CROWELL of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 10th, 2013. Born in Barrington, NJ he is the son of the late Thomas M. and Ethel L. Crowell and the Husband of the late Jean M. (Nee Mertz) Crowell. He worked in the auto dealership industry his whole life as a Parts Manager and was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was an active member of Medford United Methodist Church, the Medford Historical Society, the Republican Committee and the Blackwood Lions Club. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late Florence Crowell, Virginia Montgomery and Thomas Crowell. A man of faith, he was generous with his gifts and his acts of service. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the Medford United Methodist Church in Medford, NJ, where a Celebration Service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ. The San Francisco Examiner, August 17, 1959 - November 13, 2013 Ramon Gille Joves, 54, of Daly City, CA, passed away on November 13, 2013 in the arms of his wife. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013 and Monday, November 18, 2013 at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, CA 94015). There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM on Monday during visitation hours. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Holy Angels Parish Church (107 San Pedro Road, Daly City, CA 94014). Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Mission Road, Colma, CA 94014). Mon was born in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 17, 1959. He graduated from San Francisco High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Adamson University in the Philippines. Mon was married to Nancy V. Joves (Victoria) on January 23, 1988; they were married for 25 years. Mon worked as a research chemist at Chevron Energy Technology Company for 26 years. He enjoyed being a bay area sports fan especially the GS Warriors, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Mon is survived by his wife and two children, Ryan and Ron; mother, Emilia; his siblings: Francisco Jr., Wilfredo, Maria Emilia, Esther Ternal, Edgardo, Minerva Tan, Elizabeth Tropel, and Sr. Nerissa; his father-in-law, William Grupe; his brothers-in-law: Noel and Noli Victoria; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends. Mon is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Joves, Sr. as well as his brothers Romulo and Conrado. The Trentonian, Joan Miller PENNDEL, Pa. - Joan Miller passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the St. Mary medical Center. She was 81. Born in Dickson City, PA she was a resident of Penndel for 59 years. She was employed by Nabisco and retired after many years of service. Joan enjoyed crocheting, trips to the casino and reading. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband's Charles "Red" Miller and Leroy Lessard. Left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 children Lillian Mannon and her husband Allan of Langhorne, Charles Miller Jr. and his wife Patty of Levittown and Joni McEachern and her husband Mark of Hamden, CT and her sister Audrey Robinson of Nicholson, PA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild and many cousins especially Blanche Anderson. A Memorial Service will be held at the James O. Bobby was also part owner of Murphy's Bar & Lounge in the 1970's. Loving father of George Warner of Bordentown and Alisha and Jim Vanhorn of Roebling. Dear brother of Tom and Stephanie Warner of Hamilton, Robert and Chante Jackson of Deptford, Frank Percerno of Trenton, Jules Warner of PA, Larry Hibb of WV, and the late Robin Williams. Proud grandfather of Derek Vanhorn, and dear son in law of Barbara and the late Carl Russell of Bordentown. Born in Trenton, he was a longtime Windsor area resident prior to residing in Bordentown City with his fiance Margi. A graduate of Allentown High School and Mercer County Community College, Mark worked at Rue Insurance Company. He enjoyed hotrods and fast cars and going to his shore house in Ship Bottom. Son of the late Marvin L. Inman, Sr. he was predeceased by his sister-in-law Rhonda Inman; he is survived by his mother, Nancy A. Inman; his loving fiance, Margi Dempster; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Marvin L. The Trentonian, Timothy S. Ashley NEILLSVILLE, WI. -Timothy S. Ashley, 62 of Neillsville, WI., passed away Nov. 9, 2013 at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton NJ. Born Nov. 10, 1951 in Trenton NJ. he was the son of Charles & Corrine (Mirabelli) Ashley. He served in the United States Army stationed in Germany 4 years, worked for General Motors in Ewing NJ and took a transfer to Wisconsin until he retired. Tim always lived life to the fullest as he was an avid outdoorsman loving hunting, fishing, riding his horse and winter activities. Tim was also an excellent cook. He is survived by his wife Gale Ashley; his children Timothy (Little Tim) Ashley; Daughter Jennifier Ashley; and granddaughter Riley; mother Corrine Ashley; brothers Charles, Bruce, Keith, Kenneth and sister Valarie Voorhees. The Trentonian, Alfonso J. Robertiello PRINCETON - Alfonso J. Robertiello, Jr., was born on November 10, 1923 and died on Monday, November 11, 2013, of natural causes. A lifelong resident of Princeton, NJ, he was the son of Alfonso and Grace Crisafulli Robertiello. Alfonso proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII most notably in the Pacific Theatre and Iwo Jima. He had a great interest in politics and current events and strongly supported the Democratic Party and its policies. He was a member of American Legion Post 76 and Local Union 781, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America in Princeton, NJ from which he was directed to various jobsites during his career. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie L. Hopkins Robertiello (2004) , two sisters Grace Robertiello and Josephine Rousseau and a brother Henry (Rick) Robertiello, he is survived by his brother Felix and his wife, Eleanor, of Issaquah, WA and a sister Elizabeth Perna and her husband, Joseph, of Plainview, LI, NY and eleven nieces and nephews. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Hamilton area resident. Bob was a graduate of Hamilton High School West, class of 1959. An Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired from the NJ DOC as Lieutenant after 25 years of service. Bob was a member of the Yardville VFW Post 491 and a lifetime member of the Bordentown Elks. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and was an avid Phillies and Eagles Fan. He also enjoyed visiting different area flea markets with his brother. Son of the late Clarence and Bernice Emde Morgan, Sr., husband of the late Gale Morgan, he is survived by his children, Jason Morgan and his wife Suzanne, and his daughter Melissa Morgan; his brother Clarence "Turk" Morgan and his wife Alyce, his sister Bernice Fajgier and her husband Walter; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members; and his two feline friends Pepper and Tabernacle. The Trentonian, Alonza David Linton "Lonnie" Alonza "Lonnie" David Linton, 88, of Ewing, NJ departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Lawrenceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Live Oak, FL, Mr. Linton received his early education in Orlando, FL. In 1943, he relocated to Camden, NJ and was drafted into the US Navy serving honorably from 1943 to 1946. After the military, he moved to Boston, MA where he was a Radio Repair Technician for two years. In 1952, He relocated to Trenton, NJ and joined the Mt. Zion AME Church. He joined Friendship Baptist Church in 2011 where he was an active member and attended Sunday School. He was employed by American Biltrite, Inc as a supervisor. He attended Ryder College for Supervisory Management Courses and received a Certificate of Completion for Plumbing from Princeton University. He was the President of Local #175 at Princeton. He retired from Princeton University in 1988 after 16 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #182 and held various Officer positions. He was a member of the Ewing park/Braeburn Civic Assn. Predeceased by his by his parents, Danny and Pearl Elizabeth Bryant Linton; a sister, Doris Linton McGill surviving are his devoted wife of 20 years, Liska V. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico on May 6, 1925, Carmen has been a long time resident of Trenton. She was very generous, loving, and devoted to all who knew her. Mrs. Mora is predeceased by her parents; Pedro Rodriguez and Monica Lazu, her husband of 28 years Matias Mora, young child Ismael Mora, sister Ana Victoria and brother Luis Americo Rodriguez. Left to cherish her loving memory are her children; Jose Mora (Debbie), Edyberto Mora (Luz), and Carmen Iris Melendez (David), Pedro Rodriguez (Joley) caring siblings; Luisa, Jorge Rodriguez, Gregoria Ortiz, and Maria Mantilla(Juan); beautiful grandchildren; Ralph Sanchez (Lissette), Victoria Ortiz (Luis), Jennifer, Christopher (Samantha), Alicia, Debra Anne, Christian, Ramrajan, and Maximus Mora, Andres, Pilar, Carmen, Angel Rodriguez, 15 wonderful great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013; 9:30am at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 151 North Warren Street, Trenton NJ 08610. Visiting hours are Friday 7-9pm at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad Street (Rte 206), South Trenton NJ 08611. Interment; Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to be made to the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. Arrangements are under the direction of David C. Chiacchio and his dedicated staff.

The Trentonian, Georgia Lee Mohammed TRENTON - Georgia Lee Mohammed, 63, of Trenton peacefully departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ. Born in Bridgeton NJ, Georgia was educated in Bridgeport CT. She retired after 40 years of service as a client care specialist. She was a baptized member of the Jehovah's Witnesses since 1974. She was predeceased by her parents, Idona Hicks and Prince Williams, sister, Marylene Taylor, a nephew Edison Still and a niece, Sheila Williams. She is survived by three sons, Antonio, Ralph (Molasses) and Jermaine Jones; three daughters, Sophia "Chocolate Drop" Howard (Timothy), Latasha "Tasha" Beal (Eric Grissom), Shawana "ChiChi" Journes (Ronnell Solomon); grandchildren, Brittany Howard (Johnnie Davila), Ralph Jones III, Laquesha Warren, Ralph Jones-Talley IV (Sharese), Virgil Howard (Latifah), Aliesha, Dominique, Timothy Martin, Ventresca "Shua Shua" , Zavir , Vadera , Zymir and Zyaer Beal, Georgiana "Big Julie", Elijaah Dontrell, Jordan, Isaiah and Baby Jones; great grandchildren, Machi Warren, A'veair Howard, Julianna "Lil Juli" Davilla and Zyeara Martin; siblings, Willie I. Williams, Martha Jordan, Katie Lawrence, Lottie and Linda Galloway and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1pm at the Kingdom Hall, 117 Oakland St. Trenton, NJ Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery.
