He was the father of Bill and Kathy, Kevin and Lisa, Tom, and Anne and Rick. He was the grandfather of Alex, Elizabeth, Casey, Isabella, Brian, Ryan and Lauren. He was the brother of Anne Marie Loubal. Born in the Bronx, NY, Warren was a Medford resident since 1976. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Logistics Manager for Arco Chemical in Philadelphia. Warren was a member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church. He taught Prep for over 20 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 15th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. South Jersey Local News, DENNIS J. MORRISSEY of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 75 years of age. Born in Buffalo, NY, he is the son of the late Leo and Rita Morrissey, he has resided in Medford since 1973 moving there from MD. He is a retired Manager for UPS in Lawnside, NJ where he retired in 1993 after 33 years with the company. A long time member of Medford Lakes Country Club he thoroughly enjoyed his family and his golfing. He is the Beloved Husband of Terry (Nee Wojenski) Morrissey of Medford, NJ, and the Loving Father of Mark Andrew Morrissey and his wife Judy of Maple Glen, PA, Megan E. Schulte and her husband Paul of Southampton, NJ, Maureen E. Fox and her husband Leonard of Marlton, NJ, Michael B. Morrissey and his wife Jennifer of Lower Merion, PA and Lt. Col. Matthew T. Morrissey and his wife Kimberly of Camp LeJeune, NC. Gazette.net, William "Billy" Mitchell left this world on March 7, 2013 to be with the Lord. Billy lost his long and courageous battle with heart disease and diabetes. Billy was born on May 28, 1945 in Washington, D.C.Billy was raised by his grandparents, William and Ermina Godbout in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Billy attended schools in Capitol Heights and went on to work in the heating and air conditioning business with his brother Jesse and Rowan Heating Company from which he retired. Billy was a "self taught" "free spirit," who was the master of restoring cars. His most prized possession was "She's a Lady" a car he restored.Billy is survived by his wife Christine M. Mitchell and his sisters June Green and Louise Fillmann. He is also survived and loved by many first cousins, nephews, nieces, sister and brother-in-laws as well as many friends.Billy was predeceased by his only son William Matthew Mitchell, Jr., his brother Jesse Herbert Mitchell, his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and four nephews. Minuteman Publications, HILDES-HEIM, NORMAN ERIK Norman Erik Hildes-Heim, architect, international hotel developer and former Rowing correspondent for The New York Times, died suddenly March 20 at his home in Fairfield, Connecticut. He was 75. He was educated at Andover and received his A.B. in history from Columbia University in 1960, where he rowed crew. He spent a year at Cambridge University, England and earned a master's degree in Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. Hildes-Heim designed and developed hotels at John Carl Warnecke & Associates for InterContinental Hotels Group and Bechtel's International Division and later as a partner with Hotel Development Associates. He covered rowing events around the world, including The Henley Royal Regatta as a freelance writer for The New York Times. He also coached the lightweight rowing team at Columbia while shuttling back and forth from New York to Boston to teach a course at Harvard. He was a 'teaching visitor' at the University of British Columbia School of Architecture and was awarded the UBC Honorary Alumnus Award for his significant contribution to UBC by a non-alumnus. The job he said he enjoyed the most was lifeguarding at Fairfield's Jennings Beach each summer for the past 54 years. He especially loved gardening, Long Haired Highland Cattle and the music of Cole Porter, Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein, the Broadway musical stage and the Opera. He was a mentor and a friend who, through his selfless efforts, changed the lives of his student oarsmen as well as friends in crisis. Hildes-Heim was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on February 20, 1938 to Claire, an opera singer and Erik, founder of Heim Bearings. He is survived by his adopted son David Kardos. A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 834 Brookside Drive, in Fairfield. In keeping with his wishes, a committal service at sea will be private. Minuteman Publications, WEBSTER, BERYL MURRELL Beryl Murrell Webster, 94, the mother of Gary Webster of Fairfield, died peacefully on April 2 in Fairfield. She was the wife of the late William C. Webster. Born in Crowley, Louisiana, she spent most of her adult life in White Plains, NY. She was a court stenographer in Louisiana, and worked as an administrative assistant in the blood bank of White Plains Hospital for many years. She was an avid gardener and flower arranger, winning many awards for her floral arrangements. She had been a member of the White Plains Garden Club, the White Plains Woman's Club, and St. Bernard's Church before moving to Connecticut six years ago to be with her family. She was a devoted mother and a very loving grandmother. Survivors include her son, David, and his partner, Larry Kramer, of New York City and Warren, CT; her son, Gary, and his wife, Gretchen, of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Morgan Gotfried and her husband, Ben, of Fairfield, and Whitney Webster of Philadelphia; and a great-grandchild, Brandyn. Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13 at Kensico Cemetery, Valhallah, NY at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to FIRST, the Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types, 2616 North Broad Street, Colmar, PA 18915.

The Washington DC Examiner, On Sunday, January 27, 2013, Susan B. Seaton, formerly of Falls Church, VA ended her 13 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Susan passed one week short of her 96th birthday. Susan was born in Garden, MI on February 2, 1917 and after graduating from Escanaba Business College in Escanaba, MI she came to Washington D.C. to work at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing where she met her husband, Howard W Seaton. Susan and Howard were married in January 1942 and they had one child, a son, Howard B Seaton. Susan worked in various federal agencies over the years, finally retiring in 1969 from the Department of Defense. Shortly after her husband passed in July 1982, she decided to move to California to be near her son and his family. Susan moved to Elk Grove, CA in 1987 and became active in the community, worked in her garden and traveled with friends. In 2000, she was diagnosed with dementia and she subsequently moved into a skilled health care facility in Roseville, CA where she lived out her remaining years. Susan's bother, Samuel Frank Beardsley of Newton Square, PA predeceased her as did her husband, Howard. Susan is survived by her son Howard Beardsley Seaton of Gold Beach, OR and his wife, two grand children, Brent of Jacksonville, FL and Erinn of Parachute, CO and four great grandchildren, Connor and Mackenzie of Jacksonville and Aryaa and Liam of Parachute. Susan will be laid to rest on April 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to a charity of your choice.

South Jersey Local News, Stephen R. Miller, 66, of Medford, after a long illness, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Steve was born to a military family in Ankeny Iowa on March 16, 1947. He graduated high school in Ankeny, where he excelled in academics, sports and music. He graduated from Iowa State, where Steve earned a B.S. degree in Business and Math. He moved to Medford from Cinnaminson, NJ in 1995. He was employed as Vice President at Giles-Ransome Lift Co. in Bensalem, PA. In 2001, Steve established Miller's Handyman's Service in Medford. As a sports fan, Steve cheered on the Eagles, Phillies and enjoyed Nascar. Steve was happiest on the water, boating and fishing. He is survived by the love of his life, Janet of Medford, NJ; his children, Michael Miller and his wife, Anne of Naples, Fl., David Miller and his wife, Jamie of Chadds Ford, PA, Stephanie Miller of Burlington City, NJ: his brother David Arlo Miller of Johnston, IA. Also Janet's children, Dal Ward, Duffy Ingle and 2 grandsons, Greylan and Sawyer- Miles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 4 pm at the Indian Mills United Methodist Church, 89 Indian Mils Road, Indian Mills, NJ . The family invites everyone to please stay for an informal dinner reception following the service in the church social hall. Internment will be held privately. South Jersey Local News, Frances D. Le Van, of Southampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was 87. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Ellenberg; her granddaughter, Katherine (Katie) Ellenberg; a brother, William Daymon; several nieces, nephews and close friends Corinne Falo and Trisha Rimikis. She grew up in Perkasie, PA, and displayed a bright mind, sharp wit, and artistic talent from an early age. She held her mental abilities and intellectual curiosity to the end. In her early adulthood, Fran was a welder during WWII, and a model who worked with Grace Kelly. Later, she married the late Clyde Le Van, and they moved to Binghamton, NY, where Fran worked for GE and won a "Hall of Fame Suggestion Merit Award", for significantly improving their data processing system. Upon return to NJ, the pair bought and rehabilitated old houses and became very active in the Medford Historical Society. When Susan began school, Fran went to College and reinvented herself again; this time as a teacher. She taught at Burlington County Vo-Tech and went on to teach 6th grade at Indian Mills School, until she retired. Never one to be idle, she used this time to volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul's Thrift Store in Medford, and Leisuretowne's T.O.U.C.H., while becoming quite an accomplished artist, selling many of her paintings. All of this, however, took a back seat to her main passion which was being the best grandmother possible to Katie. The family invites you to come to a Celebration of Fran Le Van's Life on April, 21, 2013, from 1-4PM, at Domenico's Italian Restaurant, 916 N. Rt. 73, Marlton, NJ. Born in Phila., PA, she is the daughter of the late Dennis A. and Henrietta C. Fahy and the wife of the late Arthur John (Jack) Howarth. As a long time resident of Medford Lakes, devoted member of St. Mary's parish and founder-owner of Lenape Kiddie Kollege, she touched many hearts. Her grace and the love she shared will live on within all of us. Scales, 74, of Westport, CT. and husband of Martha Anchondo Scales passed away on Saturday April 13th at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Robert was born in Danville, VA. on August 26, 1938 and was the son of the late Jasper and Dorita Scales. Robert has resided in Westport for the last two years and has worked as a property manager in Westport for the past fifteen years. Robert was a loving husband and father. Survivors in addition to his wife Martha include three sons, Joseph, William and David, Five daughters Wendy Awa, Gianna, Jennifer, Robin and Mara Scales. South Jersey Local News, John G. Dyer died on April 4, 2013 in the Samaritan wing of Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was 87 years old. Mr. Dyer was born in New York City on September 1, 1925. John's life was characterized by devotion to family; devotion to country; and a consistent entrepreneurial spirit. John was married to his wife, Virginia for 63 years. Virginia died on November 9, 2009. John frequently described Virginia in these simple words: "she was my life." John and Virginia left three surviving children, Gini Lande of Pukalani, HI , John G. Dyer III of Burlington, VT, and Nancy Dyer-McGeoy of Medford, NJ. Mr. and Mrs. Dyer were blessed with seven grandchildren, Beth de Carion of San Francisco, CA; Katelyn Dyson of San Francisco, CA; John G. Dyer IV of Ojai, CA; Jeffrey Dyer of Kittery, ME; David Lande of Del Ray Beach, FL, Jennifer Lande, and Steven Lande of Philadelphia, PA. John also lived to see and enjoy his three great grand children, Emma Dyson, Julian Dyson, and Bruno de Carion. Mr. Dyer grew up in Rockaway Beach, NY. He attended St. John's Prep where he was a member of the ice hockey and track teams. He was also a member of the NY Metro Sandlot Baseball Championship team known as the Flatbush Flashers and later played for a semi-pro hockey team known as the NY Ramblers. Mr. Dyer served with the famed 2nd Division Marines (Pacific Theatre) in World War II. He was part of the invasion force on the islands of Tarawa, Saipan, Tinian, and Okinawa. He was also part of the post atom bomb occupation force on mainland Japan (Nagasaki). After the war John attended St. John's University for a year on the G.I. bill, but decided to leave college to pursue business opportunities. His first venture was JAVCO Manufacturing Company. The company specialized in making aluminum storm windows and doors and was the major supplier for Levittown, PA and Willingboro, NJ. After JAVCO, John moved into the food service industry. He worked for several restaurant chains as a manager and regional manager before opening his own company, Camden Food Company. Over the next twenty years, John owned and managed restaurants of every variety, from Dunkin Donut shops to high end dining establishments. His last restaurant was the Four Winds Restaurant and Tavern in Bucks County, PA. In retirement, John founded a company known as Car-A-Van Transport, Inc. that provided low cost transportation services to non-profit agencies in South Jersey. He also played a vital role in the development of Burlington County Adult Medical Day Care Centers. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29 at 11:45 AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ ; followed by an interment ceremony at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ precisely at 2:30 PM.
